- 0-4 weeks baby can look at her/his mother’s face in a range 20-30cm, can move her arms and legs actively, her/his head can turn to the right and left, some can react to a sound while other couldn’t yet, and it’s normal.
- 4-8 weeks baby looks at moving toys or person, can blink, awake when hears a loud noise, start to smile at people that talk to her/him, can lift her/his head when you put her/him on her stomach, some starts to make voices.
- 8-12 weeks baby can listen to voices and laugh sometimes with little yell, straight head in sitting position, can move her/his body to the right and left, looks at her/his hands.
- 12-16 weeks baby likes to look at colorful toys with noises, can grab a toy, can put his/herself on stomach position and back on her back position.
- 16-20 weeks baby can sit but not on his/her own, turn his/her head to a voice, try to grab a toy.
- 20-24 weeks baby can sit on his/her own, try to put things in his/her mouth as s/he is ready for his/her first meal.
- 7 months baby can crawl and grab his/her toy with both hands.
- 8 months baby starts to stand while holding on to something, making the ma, ma, ma voices.
- 9-12 months baby will start to walk, finally capable of doing it properly by the age of a year. S/he can wave and clap. S/he starts to explore with his/her toys, like putting things in a box. Some can say mama or papa in a year old.
This capabilities are gained through stimulations, like playing the baby brain games, giving the right toys, and giving enough nutricion. You should consult with your baby physician if s/he doesn’t gain any weight or her/his growth is not like in the chart, her arms and legs look weak, doesn’t respond to light and voices, cannot lift his/her head when you put on his/her stomach by the age of three months.
